Welcome to the 2020 GMC Championship Information Page

GMC CROSS COUNTRY JUNIOR SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Monday, October 12^th, 2020 - 4:15 P.M.

GMC Trophy will be awarded for each race as soon as scoring is complete.No Award ceremony this year
Spectators: Only two spectators per athlete at the course. Once that event has concluded those spectators are expected to return to their vehicles.
MASKS: Must be worn at all times by everyone except for athletes competing in a live race.

Port-a-let Restrooms are available near the tennis courts and behind the Finish line.
Make sure all athletes bring their own water.

- A trainer will be stationed near the finish line.
- If athletes are not competing they will need to stay in the Team Camp Area on Baseball Fields.NO ONE IS ALLOWED IN THE WOODS or on the course unless warming up.
No Coaches meeting, Races start on time. Athletes need to be at start line 5 minutes before race.

Boys 7^th Grade                         4:15 pm                       score 7; run all

Boys 8^th Grade                         4:45 pm                       score 7; run all

Girls 7^th Grade                         5:15 pm                       score 7; run all

Girls 8^th Grade                         5:45 pm                       score 7; run all

Sunset                                      7:02 pm
To score as a team, 5 runners need to be entered for scoring.
If less than 5 runners are entered in grade races, runners will be given place of finish as individuals.
7^th grade runners can not compete in the 8^th grade race; the only exception is in the “spirit of fairness” to a team that does not have enough athletes to run as a team.Teams cannot be rearranged to gain a competitive advantage.

Registration and scoring will be with GHG timing, they will use MileSplit for Registration.
