Our largest and most exciting fundraiser of the school year! Students have the opportunity to walk or run with their fellow classmates while being splashed with color! This fundraising events helps to fund multiple events that are held throughout the school year. 

This year’s event will be held after school on Friday, September 29, 2023, until 4pm. Let’s make our 2023 Plains Jr. Color Walk/Run an unforgettable event for our students!  This year we’ve set our fundraising goal at $10,000 as we are raising funds to begin Phase II of our Courtyard Transformation into an outdoor learning space for students and break area for staff.  Register your student to participate today!

Teachers prepare for Conference Nights as soon as students leave the building for the day! This means they may not have time to have a meal before meeting with parents. PTO steps in to host a meal to teachers for them to enjoy at the school! 

This Fall, visit the food trucks that will be selling items during home football games!  During the Winter, snacks and drinks are sold (cash only) during girls & boys regular season basketball games.

Our PTO provides full size candy bar treats 3 times a year to students making the Honor Roll! 

We have monthly restaurant nights scheduled where each restaurant donates a portion of sales back to our PTO!  This is the perfect opportunity for busy families that may be eating out anyway to help give back to our PTO! Family favorites that we have lined up include Marco’s pizza, Chipotle, Planet Smoothie, and Texas Roadhouse. Please watch for further communication with dates, times, and other restaurants that will be included!

Everyone can use a snack mid day and that's what we try to do for our teachers! 

Four times a year we donate food items to the school for create a snack cart. This cart gets passed around to each room by our PTO volunteers so that teachers may select a couple items to snack on throughout the day!

We have 3 socials per year, held after school.  Tickets will be sold online only.  Watch for more information!

We have some amazing options available through August 27th on our online store. We will be conducting another sale in November, offering up some great gift ideas for the holidays! Stay tuned for more information regarding our holiday sale, but in the meantime please shop our Back-to-School sale!

This is a fantastic opportunity to plan your Spring and Summer garden and purchase some gifts for Mother’s Day as well!  This is an online flower and plant sale during February and order pickup will be scheduled for a weekend day at Plains sometime in late April or early May.

Made possible through your generous donations, we provide treats and meals for our Staff during Staff Appreciation Week the first full week of May. Keep an eye our for a SignUp Genius so you can contribute if you'd like!

The 8th Grade Merger Dance will take place at Lakota West Freshman School in the gym on Friday May 17, 2024 from 7-9pm.  On this evening, Plains and Ridge 8th graders come together for the first time to celebrate the end of their junior high career as they prepare to enter high school.

This is held on the last day of school.  Staff organize fun events for our 8th graders and our PTO provides a full lunch and treats for all 8th graders and 8th grade staff.  We also provide volunteers the day of the event to help chaperone as most events are outside, and we serve the lunch in the cafeteria.  It's an exciting day for them as they close out their time here at Plains.

Families are invited to purchase Texas Roadhouse’s famous frozen rolls and cinnamon butter as well as gift cards, timed just right for you to prepare for the holidays!  The sale takes place in October and pickup of goods will be in November during our Dine to Donate Night at the West Chester Texas Roadhouse location. All sales will be online, so watch for more information to come. Stock up with bread and butter for the holidays and have some extra gift cards on hand to give as gifts!
